Post Office Requirement 2022- Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit for Direct Trainees:
- 18 to 30 years as of July 1, 2022 for UR/EwS [Ability to “ 5 years for ST, 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer)], up to 35 years for Government Servants in accordance with Central Government instructions or regulations.
- For EWS/ST/OBC relaxation, the applicable certificate and caste certificate must be presented in the approved manner for appointment to posts under the Government of India.
- Direct recruits' educational and other qualifications:
- A certificate in the relevant trade from a government-approved technical institution OR an eighth-grade diploma with one year of experience in the relevant trade.
- Candidates applying for the position of Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) must have a valid Heavy Vehicle Driver's License.
- Age Limit for Direct Trainees:

A Competitive Trade Test will be used to select Skilled Artisans from among candidates who have the required credentials and a valid driver's licences [only for Mechanic (MV)]. The date, time, and location of the exam, as well as the curriculum, will be sent to qualifying applicants separately at their correspondence address. In the case of other candidates who are not qualified there is no notification will be issued.
