Vodafone Recruitment - Job Description:
- Applies data modelling, data warehousing, and data manipulation techniques and standards to design, build, deploy, test, and operate highly scalable data management systems that meet corporate requirements and industry standards;
- Constructs and installs unique datasets for additional modeling depending on business and/or analytical needs by extracting, loading, and manipulating data from various sources;
- Enables the integration of fresh data sources (such as batch and streaming) into shared data environments (such as EDW, Big Data Platform, etc.);
- Translates business needs into practical data engineering activities by creating high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models, and proof of concepts;
- Investigates potential data collecting possibilities and fresh applications for current data;
- Creates data set procedures for data mining, production, and modeling;
- Integrates new software engineering tools and data management technologies into current architectures.
- Develops bespoke analytics tools and software components;
- Combines systems using a multitude of languages and tools (such scripting languages);
- Updates and installs disaster recovery plans;
- Suggests approaches to enhance the quality, efficiency, and dependability of data;
- Collaborates on project objectives with data architects, modelers, and IT team members;
- Creates, develops, and maintains software (written in Python, Scala, or Java, for example);
- Designs, develops, and manages dashboards and reports.
