- Proficient in comprehending the testing requisites and formulating test case strategies for the product.
- Authoring test plans with a sound understanding of business requirements and the corresponding testable criteria.
- Applying Wipro's testing approach, utilizing model-based testing, and ensuring an effective test generation process.
- Ensuring thorough peer review of test cases to minimize rework.
- Collaborating with the development team to identify and document test cases, ensuring version control.
- Establishing criteria, parameters, and the scope of testing, and participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Implementing automation in the testing life cycle using methods like VB macros, scheduling, and GUI automation.
- Designing and executing the automation framework and generating comprehensive reports.
- Creating and automating tests for software validation, including setting up test environments, devising test plans, developing test cases, and executing them.
- Ensuring that reported test defects adhere to the specified project/program/account norms, with clear descriptions and replication patterns.
- Identifying and documenting bug issues, preparing defect reports, and reporting progress in testing.
- Ensuring no instances of work item rejection or slippage, and compliance with Wipro/Customer SLAs and standards.
- Designing and timely disseminating test status dashboards at the conclusion of each cycle of test execution to stakeholders.
- Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, and linking results to quality risks for reporting to relevant stakeholders.
- Regularly reporting status and maintaining a customer-centric focus regarding testing and its execution.
- Ensuring high-quality communication with customers, including email correspondence, tracking fault reports, voice calls, and adhering to business etiquette.
- Delivering on-time reports such as Weekly Status Reports (WSRs), Test Execution Reports, and pertinent updates in the Test Management Repository.
- Recording accurate effort details in tools like eCube, TMS, and other project-related trackers.
- Promptly responding to customer requests, and maintaining a track record free from complaints both internally and externally.
