- To aid in the design and development of overall aircraft level objective weights, as well as to track the evolution of aircraft weight and CG during the development phase.
- Create mass models for load calculation, inertia models for aircraft simulation, and support for specific requirements.
- Estimate weight and center of gravity to use in aircraft sales campaigns.
- Drive the designers, Airbus risk-sharing partners, and vendors for the design with regard to weight targets.
- Weight review meetings and design progress meetings need the preparation of component weight and CG data.
- Aircraft delivery weighing inspection, calculating delivery aircraft weight, and supporting technical reports for weight and balance manual are all supported.
