- Software Support Engineering is a shared services organization that provides multifaceted application engineering services to various Digital product development teams.
- Creating tools, applications, code upgrades, and scripts that alleviate the operational strain of support engineers and operations personnel.
- Engineering support and debugging for difficulties relating to digital platform services and content for various products
- Interact with the content acquisition, content provider, operations, and technical teams to ensure that content is published and delivered in accordance with service level agreements.
- Production builds, tools, and configuration management are required for effective software product releases and deployments.
Amazon Recruitment - Basic Qualification:
- It is necessary to have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in overall development/technical support.
- 2-4 years expertise troubleshooting and determining the core cause of issues in complicated Enterprise Level applications.
- 2-4 years of expertise in Consumer Electronics working on networking, hardware performance, and audio/video technologies.
- Python/Ruby/NodeJS/C/Java or open source development experience preferred.
- Perl or shell scripting experience, XML/SOAP, web services, and web application development.
- Knowledge of the UNIX/Linux operating system and tools Strong communication skills and expertise dealing with high-severity incident management calls are required.
