AMD Recruitment - Responsibility:
- Build test plan documentation, allowing for interactions with other features, the hardware, the firmware, and the software driver use cases. Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, and firmware engineers to comprehend the new functionality that must be validated.
- Estimate the time required to write the new feature tests and any changes to the test environment that may be required.
- Create your guided and random verification tests.
- Debug test failures to uncover the underlying reason; collaborate with RTL and firmware engineers to overcome design flaws and correct any test issues
- Examine functional and code coverage metrics and alter, add, or constrain random tests to satisfy coverage requirements.
AMD Recruitment - Eligibility Criteria:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering/electrical engineering is required.
AMD Recruitment - Skills:
- IP level ASIC verification expert
- Proficient at using simulation tools to troubleshoot firmware and RTL code.
- Working knowledge of UVM testbenches and experience with Linux and Windows systems
- Graphics pipeline experience with Verilog, System Verilog, C, and C++
- Creating UVM-based verification frameworks and test benches, as well as processes and flows
- Workflow automation in a distributed computing environment.
- Exposure to simulation profiles, increased efficiency, acceleration, and HLS tools/processes
- Strong C++ programming experience, particularly on Linux, with exposure to the Windows platform
- Excellent understanding and hands-on experience with UVM ideas and the System Verilog language. Working knowledge of SystemC and TLM, as well as some related expertise.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, Makefile, and shell is preferred.
- Leadership or mentorship experience is advantageous.
