ATHER Recruitment - Job Description:
- Inspect prototype parts to figure out if they need servicing, fixing, replacement, or adjustments. Calculate the exact amount of work hours needed for effective planning.
- Keep an eye on and assess internal processes for potential failure modes. Use this information to create clear work instructions.
- Study how changes or new product releases affect current processes. Analyze the impact they have.
- Customize the settings and operation of environmental factors to achieve the best and quickest identification of faults.
- Strive to improve the accuracy of identifying faults, even the tricky ones that are hard to replicate.
- Lead meetings to review cases of failure analysis with Engineers.
- Collaborate with Design Engineers and communicate findings and solutions for issues.
- Take part in efforts to enhance current testing approaches and coverage for field returns, aiming for better accuracy in fault identification.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to outline testing needs and strategies for newly released products.
- Have the ability to interpret error messages related to hardware and trace them back to specific hardware components.
- Be able to mimic failures and pinpoint them in complex systems, subsystems, and components.
- Have hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex hardware issues and identifying the faulty component(s).
- Be familiar with scripting and automation using languages like Python, TCL, Perl, and C.
- Have a strong foundation and experience in testing methods, developing tests, executing them, and creating reports.
- Use software development and debugging tools effectively.
- Have a track record of leading teams in various critical areas, including setting strategies for new product testing, ensuring product quality, and deploying tests.
ATHER Recruitment - Skills:
- Strong experience with electronic control systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of Serial Data Communication Protocols and/or Software Defined Vehicle Architecture is required.
- Ability to operate successfully both independently and as part of a team.
- Proven track record of dealing with difficult problems.
- Reading and comprehending electrical wiring schematics and controller specifications.
- A bachelor's degree in information science/electronics technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
