- To model Airplane systems, you will collaborate closely with system/software developers.
- Creating, maintaining, and combining models of aircraft subsystems into a fully functional software system.
- As a subject matter expert in Simulation domains, system-specific concerns, processes, and laws.
Boeing Recruitment - Skills:
- Engineering categorization degree and typical experience: Bachelor's degree with 1 to 4 years of experience, Master's degree with 2 or more years of experience, or PhD degree with experience are required.
- Bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from a recognized program. Although not needed, ABET accreditation is the desired level.
Boeing Recruitment - Preferred Qualification:
- Experience with Matlab Simulink and state flow systems modeling.
- Hands-on experience in model-based code creation and integration into bigger systems/simulation.
- Strong program development, optimization, and problem-solving skills in C/C++/Python.
- Strong written and oral interpersonal skills are required for generating and improving technical papers, as well as engaging a globally distributed engineering team efficiently.
- Excellent understanding of the full software development lifecycle
- Debugging abilities and considerable expertise analyzing complex software using gdb/kgdb/windbg.
- Knowledge of Airplane Systems.
- Knowledge of Fortran is advantageous but not required.
