Job Responsibility:
- Maintaining a variety of pSeries and Power Servers, or familiarity with Enterprise Servers, with a preference for the RISC platform.
- This position is an individual contributor who is in charge of installing, maintaining, and repairing IBM logo hardware, software, and operating systems on-site.
- Client's primary technical interface for the coordination of hardware and/or software support, as well as the supply of operational services as needed.
- Advise customers on preventative maintenance, configuration, operation, and environmental elements that may have an influence on product performance or IT operations.
- Perform services such as systems assurance, installation planning, account management, system-level problem assessment, and IBM system and product discontinuation and relocation.
- For the client account, responsible for ensuring a high level of client satisfaction with service delivery, technical support, and operational services.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum of 0-3 years of experience in the following areas:
- Working Knowledge of IBM Systems
- IBM System Operation and Maintenance Experience
- Client management experience
- IBM Power Servers/AIX/Linux implementation, operation, and maintenance experience
