- Responding in a timely manner to a large amount of technical problems created by our clients
- Troubleshooting common Nodejs (and popular app stack) setup difficulties (database, dependencies, env vars, etc).
- Examining the fundamental reason of app failure (server crash, datacenter outage, resource exhaustion, etc)
- Collaboration and independence with our support, product, and engineering teams
- Process and policy improvements must be identified, communicated, and documented.
Digital Ocean Recruitment - Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor's Degree in Any Field
Digital Ocean Recruitment - Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Linux command line operations
- Outstanding writing and verbal communication abilities
- A proven track record of offering great service to technically adept clientele.
- Unparalleled enthusiasm for consumer advocacy and technology
- Identify strongly with our goods, brand, and team culture
- Excellent analytical and pattern recognition abilities
- Experience installing and managing production-ready apps is a plus. Familiarity with the 12-factor app methodology is a plus.
- Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) is a plus. Bonus: Programming/Scripting languages are a plus (Bash, PHP, Go, Python, NodeJS)
- Knowledge of, and participation to, open source projects is a plus.
